Atomic Emission Spectrometer
ICP (Inductive Coupling Plasma)

This sequential optical emission spectrometer system has an auto-sampler and processes 23 elements in approximately two minuets.  Includes teflon spray chamber and two-(2) torches that are NOT cracked or chipped, sample racks, and various accessories.  This system includes all manual and documentation.
 

Teledyne-Leeman Labs ICP PS1000 OES (Optical Emission Spectrometers) is in good working condition, ignites, has plasma and functioning safety interlocks.

Purchased as a backup and we never used as regular instrument or put it to the test.  Instrument ignites and has plasma, torch adjustment functions and peek optics work. As a minimum, it can, of course, serve for parts. Comes with a power supply and computer. Unit has been used with tap water cooling and pressure gage.

Typical operating parameters - Argon plasma at 99.999% Argon was operated at 1.1 KW. The water coolant and the auxiliary Argon flow were 18 and 0.5 L/min respectively. The nebulizer pressure was kept at 50 psi. The sample was aspirated into the nebulizer at 1.8 mL/min.
