ICP (Inductive Coupling Plasma)

For performing ASTM-D-5185. This sequential optical emission spectrometer system has an auto-sampler and processes 23 elements in approximately two minuets. 
 

Teledyne-Leeman Labs ICP PS1000 OES (Optical Emission Spectrometers) is the second of three-(3) instruments for sale now in our laboratory acquired during the buy out of another laboratory.

Typical operating parameters - Argon plasma at 99.999% Argon was operated at 1.1 KW. The water coolant and the auxiliary Argon flow were 18 and 0.5 L/min respectively. The nebulizer pressure was kept at 50 psi. Samples are aspirated into the nebulizer at 1.8 mL/min.

Purchas this unit for spare parts for your laboratory.  We never used this unit as a regular instrument or put it to the test.  However, we can not speak of its operating condition.  We have no recorded of it in operation nor do we have any maintenance records for this unit.  The unit originally was from Western Michigan University and we believe the previous owner used it for parts.  There is no computer, no printer, no cooling unit, no torches and no extra components or documentation.
