Molybdenum (Mo)

Source:          Piston Rings, oil additives.

. Function:     Molybdenum is used as an alloy in some piston
                     rings in the place of Chromium.  Molybdenum is
                     also used as a friction-reducing additive in some
                     oils.  Soluble Mo can be used as an antioxidant
                     additive.
