Filter Analysis

Filter Particle Analysis using precision magnets to strip iron-laden and other susceptible particles from various types of filter media for study; results indicate extent of particulate generation and likelihood of particle source captured by any liquid or air / gas filter or media type.

FLUID & HYDRAULIC ELEMENTS:

Membrane

Cartridge

Absolute Pleated String Wound
Absolute Depth Spun Multi Layer Cellulose
Nominal Glass Filter Media
Capsule Sintered Filters
  Spun Woven

Diatomaceous Earth Filters

AIR FILTERS & BREATHER ELEMENTS:
Pleated Spun Woven
Multi Layer Cellulose Synthetic Media
Coalescer Cartridges

Analytical Techniques employs microscopic and photographic evaluation of filter particles.  This evaluation involves discriminating the particles by Size, Shape, Composition & Concentration. The test provides in-depth analysis of particle makeup (e.g., steel, copper, bronze, aluminum or corrosive) and type of wear (e.g., rolling, sliding, spinning or impaction contact) as well as source origination such as outside contamination sources or endemic sources.
